When in doubt what to make this 4th of July that everyone is sure to love, make this chocolate pie with berry filling. It’s refreshing yet oh-so decadent thanks to the dark chocolate added to the cream filling. And with its stars and stripes decoration, it’s definitely suitable for the occasion.
Keto Chocolate Pie with Berry Filling
Preparation Time: 15 minutes + inactive time
Cook Time: 12 minutes

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups almond flour
- ⅓ cup ground almonds
- 2 tbsp powdered erythritol
- 1 medium egg
- ¼ cup cold butter, sliced
- 1oz. Kiss My Keto – Keto Chocolate Original
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- 2 ½ cups mixed berries
- Powdered erythritol, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Grease a disposable pie pan with melted butter or cooking spray.
- Combine flour and almonds in a food processor and blitz briefly.
- Add butter and blitz until coarse.
- Add the egg and process until a dough comes together.
- Wrap the dough and chill for 30 minutes.
- In the meantime, beat the heavy cream until almost firm.
- Melt chocolate in a microwave until runny and stir it into heavy cream. Place aside.
- Roll the dough and cut it so it can cover the bottom and sides of the pie pan.
- Cut out stars and stripes from any remaining dough.
- Place the crust and decoration into the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack.
- Spread half of the chocolate cream over the pie crust and sprinkle with berries.
- Cover with remaining cream.
- Decorate the cake with stars and stripes and dust with powdered erythrtiol.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Serve.
Tips & Tricks
If you don’t have mixed berries on hand, substitute with raspberries or blueberries. Both pair wonderfully with chocolate flavors. Make sure to let the pie set well before serving. For best results, beat the cream for at least 10 minutes or until you get stiff peaks.
