Dr. Howayeck, an anti-aging and medical consultant with three published books and former medical radio talk show, is a Certified Speaker for the Foundation for Osteoporosis Research & Education and the American Bone Health Association.
During his distinguished 22-year career in podiatry and podiatric surgery, Dr. Howayeck served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Hawaii, School of Medicine and served as President of the Hawaii Podiatric Medical Association.
While in private practice, Dr. Howayeck diagnosed and treated osteoporosis-related fragility stress fractures and interpreted thousands of ultrasound bone density tests.
Since his mother's death due to a hip fracture he is committed to promoting public education around the devastating and widely misunderstood issues surrounding bone health and osteoporosis.
