Joshua Yerkes has worked as a Physical Therapist for 6 years. He graduated in 2010 with a B.S. in Biology from St.Joseph’s University and from Widener University in 2013 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He has given several poster board presentations at scientific and Physical Therapy related conferences. He has worked in a wide variety of occupational settings including: outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, and home healthcare. He takes pride in staying up to date with current information as it relates to health, nutrition, fitness and the biological basis of human performance.
He thinks that having evidence-based, widely distributed, and the available information is essential to combating many of the modern diseases that we are experiencing worldwide. He believes that education is the first line of defense against disease. Additionally, he has participated in athletics and trained his entire life and he knows that any information that proves performance is needed whether you are a coach, athlete, parent, or casual participant.
